The location and room are good. The toilet is not clean and needs fixing.
“Excellent view, excellent room”
The place is great because of its location, but the staff left something to be desired.
Right in front of Gregorian lake, you get the best city view; it's almost a mile from the main city center. The on‑site restaurant is delicious. The downside is that they only take cash and the Wi‑Fi is unreliable, especially when the weather turns bad.

The rooms, however, feel dated and the furniture is old; the toilets are just okay but hot water is available. The staff were helpful and always around. The only hiccup was that they don't accept card payments, so we had to scramble for cash – we ended up paying part in USD and part in Lankan rupees.
