The train to Milazzo was delayed for 3 hours, so we got there after 11 pm, with no taxis available and people stuck at the station. Santina, who wasn’t scheduled to work then, came and picked us up, and the whole staff was fantastic. The place is very well situated near bars and restaurants. The shower only had a rain head, which isn’t great if you want to keep your hair dry; you’ll need a shower cap.

The location was excellent, and the staff were polite and welcoming. Parking was on the street, but we found it quickly and it was free.

The breakfast buffet offered a good variety: from typical Italian sweets (including homemade cookies) to cereal, yogurt, fruit, and also sausages and cheese. We needed a gluten‑free breakfast and received bread, rusks, and a Madeleine. The lady at the buffet was very nice and friendly and took care of our drink requests. The furniture was a bit worn out.
