The lodge was very tasty, it feels like we’re on a seaside farm. I liked everything.

I’d heard the lodge looked abandoned, but once I stepped in it felt like a jungle hideaway with the sea right outside. The staff were on hand every day, the breakfast was fresh and varied, and the room was snug with everything I needed. The only snag was a curtain that let water seep into the bathroom, but daily cleaning kept it from ruining the stay.

The spot was perfect, surrounded by a lovely forest vibe. Unfortunately the shower kept giving electric shocks all the way through our stay, and the mini‑fridge was empty and turned off. Breakfast was thin, full of bugs, and the AC made a constant whine.

The lodge is right in the trees, rooms are roomy and the staff—Margot, Clariane, the breakfast lady, and a guy—are all very helpful. Breakfast is simple but arrives on time at 8 am, and the room gets cleaned and towels changed daily. I wish there was an outdoor shower to wash off sand and an extra blanket, and the presence of a scorpion in the bathroom was unsettling—though it didn't stop me from staying again.
