“Amazing house and host”
The host’s warmth, the uniqueness of the place, and Max’s meticulous care for his business and farming work. Everything was great.
“Authentieke gezelligheid”
The lovely location with goats nearby that my daughter adored – the authenticity of the house, it has the soul of a 200‑year‑old home – the friendly host Max – the tasty breakfast and dinner – everything was very tidy. Nothing really, but it’s good to know that this place offers a different kind of luxury than some might seek, namely the beautiful simplicity of life on a small farm. You have to look a bit to find the remote house and walk a stone path; you’ll have to bend a bit at a lower door if you’re a taller person, and you’ll arrive in the history and life of the family that has run this property for generations, with all that comes with it.
We spent a delightful summer weekend at Cascina! The Booking descriptions had us ready, but it truly exceeded our expectations. We were immersed in nature and tradition, a stay that invites peace and relaxation. The interior spaces are neat and clean, the bedroom comfortable, and the other areas of the house welcoming for adults, teens, and kids. Max, the perfect host, welcomed us from the booking with care and discretion. The food he offered was excellent and genuine, tried at both dinner and breakfast. Highly recommended!
A very special spot, feels like a fairy tale, almost as if I’d relived moments from my childhood! Surrounded by greenery, very rustic, unique, welcoming, and time seems to have stopped here for many years!
“A wonderful setting, beautiful Italian rustic house, rich with history & a hospitable host!”
The setting was a gorgeous rural family home run by Max, a 200‑year‑old house bursting with character and charm. Max was incredibly helpful and a wonderful host. The large double bed and bunk beds for the 11‑ and 13‑year‑old kids gave us a restful sleep in comfort. The bathroom was fully equipped and everyone enjoyed a lovely shower. Max cooked us a meal and we ate around a large table in the front room, which featured a huge old fireplace. The place was rich in history and charm, and we felt like family. The walk there was fun—though not ideal if you’re uneasy on your feet, we’re all fit and healthy, so no problem. There’s a longer way or a quicker way (both less than 10 minutes), but it’s worth it.
