“It was a good stay marred only by Massachuttes Ave.”
Breakfast was varied and plentiful with lots of sitting space, and the breakfast hours were generous each morning. The facilities stayed clean, and the room was spacious, even having a refrigerator and microwave. The hotel sits downtown. The breakfast was decent for an American hotel, but I’d have liked more fruit and vegetables, such as sautéed spinach, like at Asian hotels. The downside of the location was the walk up Massachusettes Avenue in the evening, where the street was full of people who seemed homeless; it would feel more welcoming if that issue were addressed.
The cleaning staff was very attentive, and breakfast was very good. I had to pay for parking, which was not listed in the description, and I also had to put down 100 per night for incidentals that might occur—something that wasn’t advertised, and I hope to get that back.
The hotel was very clean and welcoming. Nothing negative.
“agraddable”
I liked the location and the hotel’s parking agreement.
The hotel is fairly central to Boston Centre. The staff attitude was poor, guests were overcharged, the pool was unclean, and the area had a lot of obvious drug use and homeless people needing help in the sheltered accommodation near the hotel.
