The place is extraordinary! We were supposed to stay one night but ended up staying two. José is super friendly, a real gem! The atmosphere is warm, the welcome unforgettable, and the accommodation is very pleasant—a small wooden cabin that makes you feel in the mountains rather than in a city (^_^). Nothing to complain about; everything was appreciated.

The photos were misleading. They held a gay pride party on the first night we arrived, and we were exhausted from the trip and wanted to sleep. I asked for a refund and they said they couldn’t because they had already spent the money, sent us to another hotel, and left our belongings there. The next day we returned and the party was still going on with loud music and bright lights; I don’t understand why they rent out the space if they also host parties.

The staff were friendly, but when I arrived nobody spoke English—though I know that’s my fault for being in Mexico. I stayed in the hostel and could feel every spring in the mattress. The shared bathroom had no toilet paper and a blue towel lay on the floor. When I got there the air‑con was off and the fan was in the other room.

It’s a beautiful place, really nice. We had a lovely cottage overlooking the pool, tastefully decorated with a nice bathroom, shelves, a table for our stuff, and two bedside tables by the bed. The pool is lovely, and we enjoyed using it. The common area is very spacious. The hostel sits on a busy street, but somehow it’s hidden so you can’t hear any noise inside. It’s really great!

The tranquility and peace of the place. Away from the city bustle but close enough to bike there in a minute. The staff are friendly. The free bike is a great plus. The facilities are somewhat old and rudimentary. The free wine bottle advertised isn’t given; instead they say they only give a 10% discount (though they somewhat compensate by giving an even larger discount).
