Certine Agroturismo is an absolutely unique place that stays in your heart long after you leave. The scenery is gorgeous, calm, surrounded by beautiful Tuscan landscapes, yet full of life and genuine rural atmosphere. You can really unwind from everything and enjoy the silence all day. A huge plus is the host, Filippo—warm, friendly, and wonderful. His hospitality makes you feel like you’re with good friends from the start. The guests at Certine are plenty! Brenda, the adorable dog mascot, stole our hearts, and you can also spot a herd of goats, mischievous geese, and two charming rabbits. In the mornings the whole area is filled with the soothing sound of sheep bells, watched over by shepherd dogs. Those little moments create the magic of the place. The property also has a well‑maintained pool—perfect for cooling off on a hot day and simply relaxing while admiring the surrounding Tuscany. Certine is more than a stay; it’s an experience, atmosphere, nature, quiet, and people you want to remember. If you dream of real Tuscany, away from rush and crowds, in a place with soul, we definitely recommend it. We left delighted and hopeful to return someday. Thank you, Filippo, for a wonderful stay.

The accommodation gave us a very warm and welcoming feeling. There is no building nearby, so it offers a perfect vacation with peace. Despite language barriers, we communicated well with our very accommodating host. The rooms have air conditioning and are styled in the Tuscan way. The pool provides the perfect cooling spot on site. The entrance is not very suitable for sportier vehicles.

The agriturismo has a very farm‑like, rustic coziness. The pool is amazing, and there were plenty of lounge chairs around the property. I really liked how quiet it was all day, a much‑needed break from the city. Even though it was peak summer, the surrounding greenery kept the air very fresh and it got very cool at night. The apartment’s AC works well if you need it. We enjoyed our stay and could see ourselves coming back. The only thing that could be better are a few more updated kitchen items, like larger pots and more cutting boards; everything else was great.

Certine isn’t a typical five‑star hotel turned agriturismo with all the services and comforts; that’s actually its charm. If you’re looking for that type of vacation, you’ll probably need to go elsewhere. If you want to rediscover the true meaning of agriturismo, Certine is the place. You’re truly immersed in the countryside and the life of a working farm. You can stop to talk with the owner about his 500 olive trees, hear him explain the upcoming grain sowing, and realize that what surrounds you isn’t a tourist set‑up but real agricultural life lived every day. Added to that is a very strategic location: you’re in the heart of the Crete Senesi, practically between Chianti and Val d’Orcia, in a perfect spot to start each day exploring some of Tuscany’s most beautiful places and then return in the evening to the absolute peace of Certine. And there are two things we’ll never forget. The sunset from these hills is extraordinary; for us it’s one of the most beautiful you can see in Italy. When night falls completely, far from city lights, look up: the starry sky over Certine is simply incredible. We were looking for nature, silence, simplicity, and authenticity, and we found all that, plus the rare feeling of stepping into a small oasis of peace for a few days. Nothing really impacted our stay negatively. In fact, some features that others might see as shortcomings are, in our view, part of the place’s authenticity. You just have to choose Certine knowing you’re coming to experience the countryside and tranquility, not resort‑style services.
