The dinners were excellent and the staff were very friendly, but the shower cubicle was not ideal.

The hotel sits in the town centre, very quiet, and is a good starting point for many hikes in a beautiful landscape. The Franzelin family were very pleasant, friendly and accommodating hosts. The food was very good, especially the “Gruß aus der Küche” which kept surprising us. We will definitely come back. Unfortunately there was no Wi‑Fi in the room. The food was very good, but the menu selection was somewhat limited and didn’t change during our 9‑day stay.

A lively spot, not a “Tirol village” that seems to consist only of hotels and pensions. A tavern that lives up to its name, a house where you really feel at ease and can unwind wonderfully. The hosts were extremely friendly, and the varied and simply delicious South Tyrolean cuisine was a treat. The selection of wines (and Prosecco!) left no desires unmet while staying affordable (though that’s very subjective). Aldein is a great starting point for diverse hikes and excursions, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Minor issues, if any, were quickly forgotten.
