A great stay if you're on a through‑trip or have walked Wad and don't want a long drive home. The rooms are great and original, but I didn't like that there was no bathroom door – that was the case in our room. Also, a soap in the room is a must.

I booked this room because of the air‑conditioning, hoping to escape the heat, but there was none. There was also no coffee or tea, even though a Nespresso machine and kettle were available, so mornings were a bit of a hassle. The bathroom was nice and spacious, but I paid 167 euros for a room that didn’t meet the advertised features.

The location was great and the place looked good. The owner was very friendly and shared a lot about the area. The only downside was that the room didn’t have a TV.

We didn’t get breakfast, so I can’t comment on that. The room was very cold, and both the baby and I were uncomfortable; we threw the key in the place my partner was shown, but it somehow disappeared, and now we have to pay compensation.

The kitchen was clean, the service was friendly, and the breakfast was excellent. In the evenings, no staff were around, the restaurant was closed, and local villagers said it wasn’t clear which days the restaurant was open.
