The coffee shop, food centre, and market are nearby. My room wasn’t soundproof; I could hear people talking loudly, or the TV or mobile from the neighbouring room. I could hear a family with a child laughing as they walked past my room. There was no hairdryer or safe deposit box. Ants were on the desk, wall, and hand basin, and even crawled into the pouch I left on the desk, strolling on my charging mobile. My non‑smoking room had a strong smoking smell when I checked in, so I had to request an air freshener. The bedsheet and (old) towel had stains. The foot rag was old, dirty, with torn edges, and I wasn’t sure if it had been washed. The corridor was very warm. I was dissatisfied that the price I booked online differed from the price I paid at the front desk.
