The hosts were super friendly and helpful, even lending us laundry, snorkeling gear, and tasty breakfasts, so we hesitate to give a lower score. The room, however, needs a makeover and a better clean; cracks in the walls and floor, an old feel, and a bathroom with wall stains and a shower that only provides cold water were noticeable. On top of that, we spotted two large cockroaches in the room—one was dead.

“ギリメノおすすめの安宿”

This is my third stay here. The first visit was after COVID, still showing earthquake marks and feeling a bit cluttered, but it was cheap. The second visit last year was much better maintained and had a nicer vibe. Now, a small café‑restaurant has opened. I stayed in a fan room and it remained comfortable. Having a water heater and a water supply in my room so I could brew coffee, tea, or instant noodles was a real plus. I dined several times at the attached café; the food was affordable and tasty. The staff were kind, and among the budget-friendly places in Girimeno, this one comes highly recommended. The only downside was the lack of hot water; the shower used saltwater, but that’s normal in Girimeno, so it didn’t bother me.

“Parfait pour se reposer sur Gili Meno”

The team is pleasant, the accommodation is comfortable with AC and potable water, the location is good—close to the port—and the breakfasts are solid. The only issue was a strong smell when turning on the shower water, but it dissipated soon after.
