The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our visit, and the welcome was excellent. Breakfast was very good, and the meal we had on site was also tasty. We recommend it. 👌

“Surprisingly Comfortable and Friendly Guesthouse Stop Between Lisbon and Porto!”

On the drive from Lisbon to Porto, we spent a night at this guesthouse in the Schist Villages area. We booked two rooms: a double with a large bed and another with bunk beds for our kids. Even though it’s technically a guesthouse, the quality surprised us – the place was clean, tidy, quiet, and the beds were comfortable. A fully equipped shared kitchen made cooking convenient. There’s no on‑site parking, but street parking nearby was easy to find. Breakfast was good with all the basics, and when we asked for extras they happily supplied vegetables, eggs, and sausages. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. They don’t speak much English, but Google Translate made communication simple, so that was no issue. Overall, it turned out to be a much nicer place than we expected: clean, comfortable, welcoming, and in a convenient spot to stop on the way. Highly recommended!

The welcome was very appreciated, and the people were very attentive to our comfort. It was quite far from shops, but that was quickly forgotten thanks to the scenery.
