Good Location. They told me I had booked rooms without air conditioning, even though there was no option to choose a room with or without AC, so they asked for an extra 50 RON per day for air conditioning. Later I learned from someone who works there that all their rooms have air conditioning.

The location was excellent—very close to the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has its own parking. The white towels had several stains. There were no towel racks in the bathroom—reported to the hotel staff but nothing was done.

10/10 – The best stay! Hotel La John was, without exaggeration, the most beautiful accommodation I’ve had in Vama Veche. The room is very spacious, impeccably clean, and the view is absolutely extraordinary. The staff are extremely kind and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Everything was superb and exceeded our expectations. We will definitely come back with great pleasure and can’t wait to return next summer! I recommend it wholeheartedly! ❤️🌟

The beachside spot is great, but at night the nearby clubs keep the noise high. Some things, especially in the bathroom, feel a bit old‑fashioned.
