The place was spotless and super comfy. I usually have allergy issues at other stays, but this room was so clean and airy that I didn’t get any problems at all. Loved it! The location is also fantastic.

The host was incredibly personal and helpful. Nothing to add.

Everything was set up so you feel comfortable. The welcome was great, the place was clean, and the kitchen had plenty of supplies. The other guests were noisy at night, even though there were plenty of polite reminders around the apartment.

The room was spacious, the kitchen well equipped, the bathrooms clean, and Ricardo was very friendly. It’s not in the very centre, but a metro stop is less than a 5‑minute walk away. I recommend it. Parking on the street is tough, and it’s a shame the washing machine is only for staff. Maybe refresh the dusty baseboards and woodwork. Other than that, everything was fine.

We left the place on the night of 24 to 25 August and only reached out less than 24 hours later to tell you that my wife had forgotten a pair of size‑39 flip‑flops. We even sent a photo from the room: the flip‑flops were clearly visible next to the bed, and the bag meant to hold them was on top of the bed. Given those facts, it’s hard to seriously claim the flip‑flops were deliberately abandoned. There is a simple way to tell what a guest intends to discard versus what they simply forget: the trash bin. The items we wanted to throw away went into the room’s trash bin, and we do not dispute that you can dispose of those. My wife’s flip‑flops, however, were not in the trash bin; they were beside the bed with the bag on the bed. Thus, they were plainly a personal item belonging to one of your guests. We can understand and even respect your desire to give away items that guests have clearly decided to discard to families in need. The intention might be generous, but the explanation you gave only deepens our confusion and displeasure about how this situation was handled.
