We stayed one night at Christima Residence before heading to the airport; the staff were friendly and welcoming, and for a single night it was convenient. We just wish there was a small fridge in the room and a bath mat for extra comfort.

It’s the perfect spot to start a Sri Lanka tour. We spent our first two nights there, and small supermarkets and restaurants are within walking distance. All the staff were very nice, and we’ll be staying for our last night as well.

I stayed in a quiet side street just a stone’s throw from Negombo’s beach, only 12 km from the international airport. The staff were friendly, letting us store part of our luggage there so we could travel around Sri Lanka in light gear. We’ll be back for the next leg of our trip to Australia, staying again at the same hotel.

The location was great, but the room we booked was 40 m² and we received less than 20 m². Breakfast was fine, though the coffee was inedible.

I got good value for the price and the place is in a fantastic spot with a nice pool. The apartment was large and roomy, making it suitable for a short stay. The bathroom had a bad odor, but after I mentioned it they cleaned it again. The stove top didn’t work and the microwave had no outlet.
