The hotel is right next to the Tica Bus station, so getting to the city was a snap. The shower worked well and gave a good blast of hot water. The downside was the price – it didn’t feel like great value for what you get.

The location is excellent and the kitchen comes equipped with most of what you need, although an electric skillet would be a welcome addition. Guests actually respect anything you leave in the fridge, and the staff are consistently friendly and helpful. I have no complaints at all.

We booked this place because it sits right across from the TicaBus stop, which was perfect for a short stay. Our room was right at the front, so the radio played nonstop through the night, and the shower head, toilet flush, and air‑conditioning were all out of order. The little pool area at the back is charming, set in nature, and the owners – even their dog Koko – are genuinely nice.

The pool was the highlight of my visit, and honestly I liked everything about the place.

We encountered a lot of ants that seemed to be coming out of the bathroom, which made the room feel pretty uncomfortable.
