The hotel overall is small but clean, with friendly staff at the reception and breakfast area. It’s a bit disappointing that the amenities are somewhat lacking, and the view and room size were not great for the room I stayed in, but since my trip wasn’t focused on room stays, it didn’t leave a strong negative impression—just for reference.

An excellent spot to finish our trip across Uzbekistan, with warm, helpful staff and a friendly welcome. We were kindly upgraded, and the room was superb, comfortable, and the bedding was just right. Cleanliness was impeccable. The courtyard is gorgeous, and the breakfast buffet in the bright room is truly excellent. It’s only a few minutes’ walk from Siyob Bazaar and the magnificent Bibi Khanum monument. The big bed had too narrow blankets, a common issue in Uzbekistan, and one window didn’t seal properly.

The owner and staff were very friendly. Even though the straight‑line distance to the sights is short, the hotel sits in a dark, secluded alley with no view, and you have to take a taxi to get anywhere. The room is very small, the bed is narrow, and the soundproofing is terrible, so I was woken several times by neighbors talking. Hygiene was poor: there was blood on the sheets, the supplies had been used by someone else, and the towel had hair. The curtains didn’t block light. I didn’t sleep well during those nights in Samarkand.

Tout ! Excellent hôtel ! J'ai passé un très agréable séjour à l'Altair Boutique Hotel. Le personnel est extrêmement gentil, accueillant et toujours prêt à aider. L'emplacement est idéal : l'hôtel se trouve à quelques minutes à pied de la magnifique place du Registan, ce qui permet de visiter facilement les principaux sites de Samarcande sans avoir besoin de transport. J'ai également beaucoup apprécié le service de blanchisserie, rapide, efficace et vraiment très abordable. Les chambres sont confortables, l'établissement est bien entretenu et le rapport qualité-prix est excellent. Je recommande cet hôtel sans hésitation et j'y séjournerais à nouveau avec plaisir lors d'un prochain voyage à Samarcande. Les coussins un peu trop haut
