Everything we needed for a cozy stay, even during a cold winter in the Adelaide Hills, was there, and we couldn’t fault this accommodation at all.

We were warmly welcomed, and the history and thoughtful renovation of the schoolhouse were impressive; the attention to detail—like the makeup removal pads—added to the cosy, comfortable vibe.

From the start the hosts ensured we had everything we wanted for breakfast, even choosing the type of milk and bread we preferred; the property itself was one of the best I’ve stayed in, everything was spot on, we liked the lack of TV and used a Bluetooth speaker, and nightly games on site were a highlight; it was a very relaxing place to unwind for a couple of nights. We didn’t stay long enough, and the Bellini stove will cost me dearly in our kitchen remodel, but the kitchen is lovely.
We adored our time at The Old School; the place is lovely and very comfortable, and Mon and Charlie are fantastic hosts who organized breakfast for us and let us use the firepit.
