Shilla Stay Seocho Gangnam Station

The room was spacious and clean, and we could see great views from the 22nd floor; the location was convenient, with easy access to the metro and quick taxi rides around Seoul. However, the internet was subpar—be careful if you need to make video calls. They offered ethernet cables, but both were unusable, and the staff didn't really help find a better spot in the hotel for a stronger connection. Breakfast fell short of the price, and for lunch or dinner you’re better off exploring Seoul’s many other options.

The spot wasn’t ideal for us; we only stayed a day and everything was shut because of a holiday, which really hurt our experience. Walking 15 minutes to the train with luggage was also a hassle.

I stayed alone for two nights and was completely satisfied. The area, Mizukusa, is relatively calm, but the proximity to Gangnam Station makes it easy to get anywhere. I had stayed at the Shilla Hotel before, so this was my first time at Shilla Stay, and the hotel felt minimal yet luxurious, with a functional and comfortable room. What really impressed me were the reception staff—competent and kind, always ready to help whenever I had a problem. I’m truly grateful and definitely want to stay again.

The location is good. It’s a shame that the cafés and restaurants close at 22:00.
