The value for money was fantastic, the staff were unbelievably helpful, and the food was delicious.

The staff treated us very politely, but even though it was a weekend and the pre‑Obon rush, the price felt far too high for a bare‑bones room. Also, a group of young guests on the same floor kept partying late into the night, which was distracting.
The staff were very attentive, and the female staff in particular handled everything excellently.
