“Great location, terrible weekend chaos”
The place is in a perfect spot, but the weekend of June 26‑28 turned into a nightmare. The owner threw a party on Saturday with music blasting until 4 a.m.; it only stopped after I asked twice, once at 2 a.m. and again at 3 a.m.
“Nice family spot, but mosquito issue”
We really enjoyed the inn and finally got to explore the old village we hadn’t seen before; it’s right in the center and a short walk to the main waterfalls, and the facilities are kid‑friendly. The only downside was a swarm of mosquitoes in the room despite keeping doors and windows shut, and there was no plug‑in repellent available.
“Scenic but noisy and hot”
The setting is beautiful, quiet and really relaxing, which is exactly what we were looking for. However, we had to deal with families blasting forró or pagode from loud speakers, and the Wi‑Fi only worked at the entrance, while the air‑conditioner couldn’t handle the size of the room, leaving us uncomfortably warm at night.
“Lovely stay, will be back”
We had a wonderful stay and everything met our expectations, so I’ll definitely be coming back. The room was clean, the staff friendly, and the overall vibe was just right for a short getaway.
“Beautiful garden, weak breakfast”
The accommodation itself is pleasant, surrounded by a very green, well‑kept garden that adds a lot of charm. Unfortunately, the coffee service was weak, with very few options and obvious leftovers like stale cake and bread, and the reception was closed at times, making it hard to get a drink or snack, especially since the town doesn’t offer many food choices.
