The host was amazing—always checking in before, during, and after. He gave us tips to drive there and save on boat and parking, and pointed out the best sunset spots, beaches, and eateries in Drake. The kitchen is simple but the stove is a beast and the fridge is huge; AC and Wi‑Fi work great. The terrace is a treat with toucans, monkeys, and colorful birds, but parking up the slope is a bit of a hassle and the room is cramped and dim.

Alex is super friendly and always ready to help with tours or anything you need. The place is cozy, with a fully stocked kitchen, free water, and a laundry area. It's perfect for relaxing and listening to the birds after a busy day. Just remember the site is a 10‑15 minute uphill walk from the beach and the driveway is steep—ideally a 4WD will make it easier.

The owner was very helpful and the kitchen is great, with free filtered water and coffee. The only downside is the lack of hooks in the room, and the nearby beaches are a bit of a trek for older folks because of the heat and hilly terrain.

The place is spotless, well kept, and has a layout that works well for a pair of couples. It's a bit out of the way, so it's quiet, but still a short walk to everything. The only issue is that the directions are a bit confusing and there's no sign, plus the steep road can be tricky.

The spot is super quiet in the upper part of town, and the kitchen is well equipped with free coffee, filtered water, a fridge, and a stove. The beds are great, AC is there but rarely needed, and two hammocks on the veranda make it cozy. From the porch you can spot birds and even an aguti, and Alex supplied us with bird and reptile guides plus a top‑notch binocular, plus two pipas each before we left.
