“gîte très bien, mais... Il faut parler espagnol. Le propriétaire est sympa, la propriétaire, moins.”
The house is charming and very clean. It’s a tiny, very quiet village. The location is excellent, close to beautiful tourist spots. The house is spotless and tastefully decorated. The rooms are quiet and nicely furnished. The large bathrooms are very clean. The price is good, and the owners provide breakfast. Note: There are security cameras (inactive during the day) only in the common areas, and this is posted at the entrance. From a French perspective, it’s legal, and it didn’t bother me. The reception was complicated—you have to speak Spanish! The owner, Noella, didn’t smile. Maybe it was a bad impression from other French guests? There’s no tourist information in foreign languages, only the rules in French on the door. We also have other accommodations. In ours, the hosts scan a QR code and directly access regional tourist sites in their languages… Parking is tricky if you have a large car. The place is under the roof, so we had to buy fans to keep the nights cool (only one window, no ventilation on the second floor). There’s no outdoor seating (tables and chairs) to relax.
