It’s a quiet place and affordable. The rooms need renovation; the paint is flaking off and there are obvious humidity problems.

The hosts who run the place are very kind and accommodating. The room is very simple and it was okay for one night. The proximity to where we needed to go made it a good location. The hosts were quick to respond to an issue I had. The walls are paper thin – so thin that I could hear the entire conversation in the room next to me and smell cigarettes being smoked. I had to ask the staff to move me because I couldn’t sleep from how loud the people next to us were. Fortunately they let us go to another room and it was fine.

I really enjoyed my stay a lot . Komang made me feel very at home. His hospitality is top notch! I stayed two weeks here and Komang showed me the ins and outs of Lovina, and helped me explore different regions in the west, it was a great experience. The room I stayed in had a very comfortable bed, good pillows, the air con worked great, a nice sized cupboard, and a small desk. The bathroom was decent , a toilet , shower, sink, towels and complementary body wash and shampoo. Komang also has an outdoor kitchen which you are allowed to use, which came in handy . I also really enjoyed the complementary breakfast. I was served traditional Balinese cuisine every morning and it was fantastic. If that’s not your thing he can also make western style breakfast he is very accommodating! If you’re looking for a great deal and a local guide , Marvin’s guest house is the place for you!. If you are a light sleeper bring earplugs. It’s easy to fall asleep, but early in the morning the area becomes very lively
