From the moment I arrived, the Wi‑Fi was set up and breakfast was included. The house is a traditional Armenian home with comfy beds and a newly renovated bathroom; the owners are a friendly family who love to share their garden of veggies and berries. Meals were all homemade—bread, butter, cheese, fresh fruit, nuts, and a variety of main dishes that were always tasty; they even offered a 3000 dram bottle of a berry drink and served mint tea and coffee daily.

We stayed in Meghradzor on our bike tour and were wowed by the genuine Armenian hospitality. The meals—both dinner and breakfast—were excellent, with plenty of produce from the hosts’ own garden, and their homemade wine was the perfect finishing touch.
