We were warmly welcomed and given a thorough briefing on everything we needed. The setting is quiet and the interior décor is charming, but as others have mentioned, the pellet‑powered toilet has a strong odor and the pipes creak unpleasantly.

The houseboat was thoughtfully furnished and spotless, with very comfortable beds. From the moment we arrived we felt at ease, and the host explained everything clearly so no questions remained. The landlord was very pleasant to talk to, making this a perfect short trip that we’d gladly book again and recommend.

The houseboat is beautiful, lovingly decorated, cozy, and impeccably clean. The kitchen has all the cooking essentials and the fireplace is great. Communication with the owner was excellent; he explained how to reach the boat perfectly. A guide on how to get hot water would have been helpful—we took a bit longer to figure it out 😅. The pellet toilet wasn’t our favorite, but that’s probably unavoidable on a houseboat. Otherwise, it would have been a perfect score.
