“Terrificante”
I had an insane experience. I reported to the platform that the hot water wasn’t working and that the bathroom wasn’t inside the room. At 23:30 I was woken up and thrown out by the owner who forced me onto the street, threatening to call the police, claiming a refund had been issued for my room, but that refund doesn’t exist. In any case, kicking a person out of the room in a city you don’t know at 23:30 for reporting that the hot water doesn’t work is insane; stay away.
“Mit nicht so großen Erwartungen für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise geeignet”
The location was great—right next to the pedestrian zone, though driving there was a bit tricky because the city doesn’t have easy access. The nights were quiet, and both the room and the bathroom across the hall were spotless. The fridge had yogurt and fresh milk. The breakfast buffet was hard to get used to: only packaged items like rusks, cakes, jam, and sweets. There were containers with things similar to cornflakes and chocolate pops, but everything was sugary. The kitchen tables and chairs were terribly uncomfortable and wobbly, and the sink definitely needs a repair.
The location offers good value for money. The only downside was the air‑conditioner noise that kept going all night, which could be improved for future guests.
“Assolutamente da ritornare.”
The location is exceptional, right in the center with a paid parking garage just a few meters away. The building is clean and comfortable, with a good DIY breakfast. The room (superior with 3 beds) is large, well‑structured, and comfortable in every way. The city of Ancona is beautiful with pedestrian streets and lively vibes. In the evenings there are many bars and restaurants nearby and well‑visited. A truly great stay. No negatives.
The place was available, clean, and in a great spot. I would suggest installing hallway lights that turn on with sensors and clarifying that the bathroom is outside the room.
