I landed at Richmond Residency and the spot is spot‑on, right in the heart of Bangalore; the team was super welcoming and the room stayed tidy and comfy. The check‑in went off without a hitch and the whole stay felt calm and relaxed – a solid pick if you’re hunting for a wallet‑friendly stay downtown.

I wasn’t allowed to stay because the hotel doesn’t take reservations, and the staff, who seemed clueless about how a traveller with an eye condition would be handled after a long trip from another part of the country, left me feeling frustrated.
