“Tranquillité à Anacapri”
The quietness away from Anacapri’s tourist streets was a real plus, and the small restaurants nearby were nice. The bus stop isn’t far, which made getting around easy. The apartment was small but matched the photos, and the shutters let us keep the place fairly dark. On the downside, we had to climb about thirty steps to get in, which was tough on our aging knees. The bed was too firm for our liking, and there was only one outlet in the kitchen, making it hard to use the coffee machine. The kitchen itself was cramped, not really suitable for cooking. The breakfast that was described as exceptional was actually disappointing, and after reading earlier reviews from previous months, nothing seems to have improved—what a shame.
