“Összességében jó benyomás. 4/5 pont.”
Clean, new, modern, fully air‑conditioned building near the Tisza with its own restaurant. The kettle in the tea kitchen was bad, we complained and they brought another one, which was also bad. Coffee pods were available in the evening, but by 8 am they were always gone and never restocked. The tap in the bathroom sink is loose and almost falls off. Bicycles aren’t maintained. Guests throw everything into the communal kitchen but don’t put it back, so the tea kitchen is almost bare—cups, plates, cutlery are missing. Not everyone wants to cook and share.
In mid‑summer, the lack of air conditioning makes it quite expensive.
Kind, helpful staff.
“Nekünk nagyon megfelel, szándékozunk visszajönni.”
We’ve stayed at this place before, and it’s probably not our last visit – that’s the key takeaway. Everything was as usual: a comfy spot in a good location, quiet nights, and minor glitches that don’t ruin the overall vibe. We stayed in the “modern house” apartment, about 35 m², with a kitchen, bathroom, a double bed, two sofas, and it could host four people, though we were just the two of us. Basically a tiny independent house, only the sun‑shower roof links it to the neighbor’s little house. Wi‑Fi and TV worked fine. Minor annoyances: the kitchen lacks a sharp knife, just butter knives, and a cup that fits under the coffee maker’s spout; a few larger plates would help. The shower door has a lock only on the outside – you can pull it from the inside, but it’s less convenient. I don’t like fixed‑height wall showers; I’d prefer a handheld, adjustable one. The freezer compartment of the fridge wasn’t working (it’s a small, awkward box that folds down, with a door that doesn’t seal well). On Friday afternoon and Saturday we were so many that the parking lot was full, so we had to park on the street a short distance away – about 50–100 m from the entrance.
Delicious breakfast, friendly staff, on‑site boat and bike rentals, and a bar right on the water’s edge.
