“Noteikti atgriezīšos, jauki saimnieki, kas mīl dzīvniekus”
The bed was small, but everything else was well thought out. I liked everything.
The location was great, surrounded by animals and nature. The owner was very kind and supportive. Because the room is on the roof, it gets very hot in summer and almost impossible to stay inside; it gets a bit cold at night. The shower and toilet are not in the same building, so if you need the toilet at night you have to go down the stairs outside.
“Ein sehr schönes Feriendomizil.”
We stayed in a cozy little house that the hosts had shown us with photos and text. The attic space was very well used and attractive. With four people, the luggage might be a bit of a challenge – it was perfect for two. The beds are a bit low for older folks, but they’re very large, which we appreciated. The hosts and other guests in the neighbourhood were no problem because there’s some separation. Occasionally we had “animal” visitors (dogs/cats), which always pleased us. To get to the shower and toilet you have to leave the house via a small staircase; that was fine, and the shower/toilet are modern and nicely fitted. It heats up quickly under the roof, so after outings we had to ventilate, but it settled soon. We were told the path to the beach via a photo, yet we still had to look a bit because we didn’t want to pass too close to another holiday home (the locals like their distance). It turned out to be the right route, and after about 20 minutes we reached the beach. Mosquito protection would be useful for the walk. The animals stayed within limits during our stay. We’d love to come again, maybe for a longer stay.
The kids were thrilled to be around animals – dogs, cats, rabbits, and even horses. The place is nice and quiet, with easy access to the nature park and the sea. If the main host were present at the arrival point everything would have been fine. In our case, the help greeted everyone without giving proper information about which room each guest group was supposed to stay in.
