The room was decent and the welcome was warm, but the hotel is still re‑organising after a recent earthquake, so there’s no Wi‑Fi in the rooms and it was noisy all night. The school right next door adds to the morning clatter from 7 am.

We booked a garden‑view room, yet the whole hotel looked like a construction site. We ended up with a moldy room facing the street and another room was supposedly unavailable. After long talks with staff and the manager over the phone, they promised a free cancellation, but I didn’t use that offer and the full price for two nights was still charged. Absolutely not recommended!

Nothing good to mention. Everything was a problem, especially the distance from the town and the fact that the hotel didn’t help us rent a scooter. Around midnight a group of about ten Indonesian youths invaded the outdoor common areas right in front of the rooms and kept partying until 3 am. In short, run away.

The shower never got hot; staff said we’d have to wait 15 minutes, but it only worked the next morning. The toilet was dirty and the tiles were broken.

The place wasn’t shabby, but there was mould on the room and bathroom ceilings, and the shower only produced hot water for two minutes.
