The room was surprisingly roomy and spotless, and it’s just a short walk to Plopsaland, which was handy. Breakfast, however, was only served in two tiny windows – half 8 to 8 am or half 10 to 10 am – so it felt rushed. The staff weren’t exactly warm, but they got the job done.

The hotel really catered to kids and everything was sparkling clean, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, there was no effort to accommodate French guests – the evening kids’ show never happened, and the extra‑service prices were absurd. I also didn’t enjoy the breakfast at all, so I doubt I’ll be coming back.

The spot is right by the theme park, so that’s a win. But the tickets aren’t in the price, so don’t get tricked by other reviews. The front desk was a bit rude, and we got locked out at 10 pm because the key wouldn’t work. No cot when we asked for one, and £300 a night feels steep for what you actually get. Breakfast was cramped, no allergy options, and the single drink machine had a long line. If you’re bringing kids with disabilities, the queuing system is a nightmare.
