The accommodation was decent enough for a one‑night stay, the room I booked was correct and it offered good value because it was very cheap. However, getting there was hard; it’s tucked inside a residential area and there were no signs or directions. The room was clean but the sheets were very old and worn from use. We were told breakfast was included in the reservation, but it was never offered.

The hotel sits in a very quiet, pleasant area and is still close to the pyramids and the museum; the staff took great personal care of us and responded quickly and reliably to our requests. The downside is that because the hotel is in a compound, finding a taxi is not easy.
