The price was cheap and having a smoking room was great, but the male front desk staff was a bit underwhelming.

It’s just a short walk from the station and cheap, though the building feels a bit dated; still, it works fine for waiting for a flight.

The value for money was good, but the facilities were showing signs of age.

The room was relatively quiet for resting and, despite the language barrier, the staff were very polite. I was asked to fill out the same form many times, and the Japanese staff were overly punctual; I understood the phone call and learned at checkout that a free airport shuttle was available, which the front desk confirmed by phone. After packing my bags and heading out, I suddenly realized my shoes were missing, causing a few minutes’ delay. In the morning, the front desk wasn’t busy, so I could have called or knocked on my door to be told the shuttle wouldn’t wait. When I returned the key, the man downstairs chased after me, fearing I hadn’t understood, even though I did; I just didn’t have time to talk. If they had confirmed the shuttle time next time, I would have been five minutes late and taken the subway myself. That was my fault, but the overly punctual staff felt a bit cold.

The price was reasonable, yet the facilities were lacking.
