“Great location, delicious food, spectacular onsen!”
Right on Lake Toya, the location is wonderful and the rooftop onsen is fantastic with a view of the lake. The breakfast and dinner buffet was comprehensive and delicious, but my only complaint was that my room was too hot, the window screen wouldn’t open for fresh air, and the air conditioning didn’t work—even in September when the days and nights were cool, my room stayed too warm.
The view of the lake from the hotel was exceptional, and every night at 8.45 pm there were fireworks—beautiful, though I thought they were too close to us. Breakfast was a large spread and amazing. Three days after we left, my brother realized he left a shirt in the room; I called the hotel, they said they had it and would deliver it to the hotel we were staying at. The staff at Toya Kohan Tei coordinated with that hotel and delivered the shirt a day later, all washed and folded nicely, for only 940 yen. I was very surprised by this act of service as we were ready to lose the shirt, and I’m immensely grateful to the staff at Toya Kohantei for their exceptional service.

外国人のスタッフさんがとてもよかったです 日本人スタッフより 挨拶笑顔ありました. 3人だったので仕方ないのですが 高齢者がいたので配慮して欲しかっただす トイレも段差だらけで健常者でもキツかったです
The place was old and a bit smelly, and the buffet was not good at all; my 8‑year‑old had to pay an extra $150 aus.
溫泉很好,酒店很近湖邊,方便欣賞煙花. 早晚餐食品都很好,可惜枱凳比較矮,對我們來說不大習慣
