We enjoyed a pleasant dinner that was tasty and generous, and in terms of price‑for‑value it was the best around. Breakfast was plentiful. From here you could walk easily to the castle, the centre, and the surrounding area. Unfortunately the opening hours were too short; they were already closed by 8 pm, and I noticed there was no traffic at that time.

Breakfast was very tasty, perhaps a bit too abundant. Everything else was fine.

From the room the view was wonderful. When we arrived the room was already prepared and we received all the information we needed for a comfortable stay. The room was clean and the air‑conditioning worked well. Breakfast was not varied enough; only one type of drink was offered. The egg dishes were too greasy for us, and on one morning the omelet was burnt, yet it was still served. It was plated skillfully, but the burnt part was bitter when we tasted it.
The view to the castle was great. There was nothing else like it.
A small guesthouse with a few rooms and an excellent restaurant. From the room you can see Zamek Rakoczego. The owner, Zoltan, is a very kind and extremely helpful person. It’s a wonderful place to stay while touring the Tokaj region and the beautiful town of Sarospatak.
