“Sin duda, si podemos volveremos”

Everything was great: a big, clean house with plenty of light and huge windows! The animals were adorable, the little donkeys were well cared for, and the puppies were wonderful. Barbara’s service was spectacular, and the breakfast was amazing—especially the bread, but the cake was the best.

The location is fantastic for anyone wanting to escape the daily hustle and get closer to nature. It’s right next to Parque do Douro Internacional, and the property even raises Miranda donkeys, which is a bonus for kids who love animals. In Vimioso you can visit PINTA (Parque Ibérico de Natureza e Aventura) that has a permanent exhibit about the Natura 2000 network and the CALP of the Miranda Donkey; you can book a tour to see the donkey. The host, Bárbara, is extremely friendly and always ready to help, plus she treats guests daily with homemade warm bread. When we arrived, a delicious homemade cake, preserves, honey and jam awaited us, and my daughter ate the jam in a flash. I recommend it.
