The front desk manager was very friendly, and the room, though old, was clean and my wife liked the bed. I found it acceptable. However, the lack of discounts prevented me from using any type of discount, a problem we also faced at a La Quinta; if they can’t be helpful they should step aside and stop charging people extra. The absence of discounts made this hotel FAR overpriced for what it was. The ice machine was broken, and breakfast was a joke. I would not recommend Blythe or this Days Inn to anyone who isn’t desperate.

The lobby was old.

Breakfast was almost non-existent: a gallon of milk to share (which didn’t seem sanitary) and some instant oatmeal, but no eggs, pancakes, meat, bread, pastries, or yogurt—things I expected.
