The location is amazing—right in the city center, everything is within walking distance and I really liked the beautiful house and the very friendly staff. Unfortunately, it was too noisy at night because of the pubs downstairs and the people chatting loudly outside, plus the traffic and motorcycles on the street for the whole weekend. Sleeping with the window open isn’t possible, you’d need earplugs, even though I love sleeping with fresh air. In summer this makes it hard to sleep. Also, arriving late at night is an issue, or you might have to book a room on the other side of the building, not sure if you hear anything there. The shower in my room (No. 16) had no seal, so I didn’t know and the bathroom flooded. It was very unpleasant to have to wipe towels in the middle of the night.
