“Lugar mágico e lindo”
Everything was just wonderful – the host was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home, and the place itself is absolutely beautiful. I really have nothing negative to say.

The chalet gave us the feeling of being up in the clouds, with crisp air, a cozy lounge with a TV and a bedroom that had an amazing bed; we could spend hours on a chair or hammock just taking in the peace. Our son tried horseback riding for the first time and loved it, and the owners were attentive, even letting us feed the chickens. The dinner we ordered was homemade and absolutely delicious, and breakfast offered a wide range of fresh options.

The location is perfect for anyone seeking quiet surrounded by almost untouched nature, and Didio and Dalva go out of their way to make guests feel welcome. Breakfasts featured fresh homemade breads, strawberry jam, cakes and even pine nuts toasted over a wood fire, and the horseback ride to the Portal Canyon was unforgettable. The cabin itself leans toward rustic charm rather than plush comfort, which might feel a bit spartan for some, but it’s part of the experience.

Everything was spot‑on – Didio and Dalva greeted us with genuine warmth and took great care of us. I’m already planning to come back as soon as I can.

I spent two nights here before a trekking crossing; the rooms were simple but comfortable, and the meals prepared by Dona Dalva were outstanding. Didio was a great host, full of local tips and stories, and the place is just a short drive from the Laranjeiras Canyon. I’d definitely stay again.
