Stylish hideaway on High st Carterton

“A cosy place to stay to soak up the rural vibe”

The cabin was very comfortable, featuring a big bed, sofa, and a modern shower. It came with all the usual conveniences such as wifi, a heater/fan, a refrigerator, a microwave, etc. The space was just right for a couple but could also accommodate a family. Parking was easy on the street, directly in front of the accommodation. Although the cabin is part of a residential property, we enjoyed good privacy from the main house. The host, Anna, was friendly and helpful. The cabin was within walking distance of Carterton’s centre, which has a supermarket and several restaurants/cafes. I thought the accommodation was good value and would consider staying again.

“Beautiful accomodation really enjoyed our stay.”

The property was beautiful and had everything we needed, including the best shower. The heating was very efficient for our cold night.

The location was good and the bed was very comfortable. The facility was nice and clean, and I liked the outdoor seating for enjoying the beautiful weather. The toilet door doesn’t close all the way and there is no small bin in the toilet. There are a lot of bugs and sand flies around, so it would be good to have some insect repellent. The TV remote didn’t have working batteries.

“Good value for money”

Central Carterton with facilities and amenities close by. The place is small but cosy, clean, and tastefully laid out. The beautifully constructed little bedsit sits in the family’s garden, sharing the garden area with family and their pets. The busy family comes and goes, but nothing is too much trouble. TV reception is patchy. A couple of fly screens on windows would be great.
