The hotel was clean and in a great spot, but the carpets in the entrance lounge were ripped and frayed and should be replaced. All the chairs there had large amounts of fabric peeling off, and the mattresses were very old and worn, needing replacement.

The location was good, but the carpets were old, worn, dirty, and the place wasn’t clean.

Breakfast was decent, and the staff we interacted with were courteous and helpful. The location suited our plans perfectly, the bed was comfortable and neatly made, and the bathroom was spotless. The building itself needed some upkeep: the carpets were worn, the wall thermostat’s battery was low, the gym water dispenser was off, the first‑floor ice machine didn’t work, and the pool was shut down. Our room could have been tidier—crumbs were found around the bed and on the room edges, and we discovered a half‑eaten cracker pack under a cup on the coffee maker. This experience didn’t match the high standard we’ve seen at other Hampton Inns.

The breakfast was wonderful. Hot food. Nice selection. Comfy bed. Good location for us. Needs updating. New carpet. Pool closed permanently
