How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.

The facilities were good, the prices were reasonable, the food was good, and the staff were friendly. The only downside was the wet weather, which prevented us from enjoying the area.

“Lovely place to spend a few nights away from the city, quiet and relaxing.”

The place was peaceful and quiet, the room was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable with fresh bedding, and the lodge staff were all friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very nice with a good menu and an excellent chef, making it a great spot for a break and stargazing. Everything was good.

The location was breathtaking, especially at sunset! Pieter and his team offered extra wheelchair assistance, and the breakfast was excellent.

“It was beautiful, peaceful and most enjoyable and would, God-willing, like to visit again”

We liked everything, but we missed the fireplace fire and the warm atmosphere it creates; all the staff we met were very nice and friendly and made us feel welcome, especially Passmore, who was the most pleasant, friendly and helpful person to deal with in the restaurant, with such a congenial personality that he made us feel special and deserving of special treatment, and we really consider him a true asset to Rooiberg Lodge. We had a very welcoming friendly time at Rooiberg Lodge and wasn't unhappy with anything.
