The hotel called me 48 hours before my arrival to cancel because they claimed renovations weren't finished and the room was unavailable, forcing me to scramble for another place at a steep price. I was promised an email from the manager about compensation and a refund, but nothing has come through. The last‑minute cancellation and subsequent lack of assistance are unacceptable. Avoid this property.

I didn’t miss out on anything, but the motel was under construction. In the afternoon of my stay, the door to my room was broken and they rushed me to move to Waily Park Motel. The bus station was closed for works, which was a huge let‑down.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We hung out in the bar, watched football, and ate at the café, and the locals were welcoming. However, there was no air conditioning in the main bar or our room, making it hot and uncomfortable; the ceiling fan didn’t help much. The advertisement listed air‑con in several spots.
