“Had the best stay very peaceful absolutely recommend”
It’s a lovely quirky property with plenty of outdoor space and a cozy cabin inside the boat. The bed was exceptionally comfortable.
“Not good value”
The location was good, and the decking area was decent size. Inside, the accommodation needed a lot of attention, looked tired, smelled damp, and the doors couldn’t be locked, so it wasn’t secure. The place wasn’t very clean, and the path to the shower was overrun by stingers, so you got stung trying to get there. There was no TV, only DVDs, which were supplied, and overall it didn’t offer good value for money.
Everything was brilliant. On arrival, the host texted me that the farmer might let us bottle‑feed lambs, which we did, and it was amazing. The floor was wet from condensation, but that was expected.
“An enjoyable overnight stay!”
The boat sat in a spot with great views over the fields, a truly unique place to stay. Even with the usual weather, we stayed warm, and the host gave clear directions. The downside was the outdoor shower—an endurance test given the average weather.
Everything!! It was such a quirky and cute property. The views were beautiful and being around the animals was lovely. I went with 2 children and they loved every minute. Nothing
