“Klare Empfehlung!”

The (limited; book in advance!) parking spot in the courtyard. The location right on the edge of the car‑free old town. Comfortable rooms with charm and style. Breakfast on the terrace is possible. The rich and very attractively arranged breakfast buffet, where the hot drinks are served. Outside the bathroom there are no free sockets to charge phones and the like. The pool can only be used for a short time because of its location on the (breakfast) terrace: in the afternoon from 16‑19 h and in the morning from 11‑12 h (check‑out is at 10 h!). During the spontaneous second stay in a different room a week later the mattress was unfortunately a bit saggy.

The staff were welcoming and kind, our family room for four was spacious, breakfast offered a good variety and the location was just a few steps from the historic centre, but the bedding left something to be desired.

We were so thrilled that we decided on a spontaneous stopover for the return leg at this hotel! The (limited; book in advance!) parking spot in the courtyard. The location right on the edge of the car‑free old town. Comfortable rooms with charm and style. Breakfast on the terrace is possible. The rich and very attractively arranged breakfast buffet, where the hot drinks are served. Outside the bathroom there are no free sockets to charge phones and the like. Close to Como center with a small but refreshing pool and decent breakfast, yet the standard room felt old and worn; the shower was tiny with a broken door, the air‑con didn’t work properly, there were no bathroom shelves, the reception phone was broken, but the bed was comfortable and the room stayed clean.
