“Unbearably noisy”

Great staff, very friendly and helpful (shout out to Miriam at the reception desk!). Daily room cleaning, facilities were clean and well taken care of. Nice pool and pool bar on the rooftop, with free supply of pool towels. Excellent Japanese/French restaurant on the ground floor. Despite the very friendly staff, our stay was an ordeal. All five rooms we booked with my business colleagues were extremely noisy from the industrial‑scale air conditioning units next door, the loud trucks on the street, and the beeping and sirens at 3‑5am. We had to sleep with earplugs to attend our morning business meetings.

The location is good, between the beach and the Convention Center, and there’s a 24‑hour CVS right next door. It’s very noisy around the hotel. The windows and doors are not very sound‑tight. There is no coffee machine or kettle.

I liked the hotel’s cleanliness. I didn’t like the valet’s location, which is on top of an open drain; my phone fell inside, I asked reception to call a city company for removal and wasn’t helped, so I had to find a solution myself. The hotel’s gym is not inside the building, and the breakfast option requires ordering at the in‑hotel café.

I slept well thanks to the comfortable bed and spotless room, but the overnight staff were rude and literally sighed before speaking; one man even said he was leaving the hotel the next day, and I could tell he wasn’t happy in his job. The road outside is noisy, not with cars but with shouting people and loud vehicles, so if you’re dealing with jetlag you’ll want to know about that before deciding.
