The place feels cozy and relaxing, the staff are friendly and accommodating. I really enjoyed the food—there was plenty of variety and tasty options. However, the dishes I liked most ran out quickly and weren’t refilled often (e.g., pasta). While it’s clear the focus is on the facilities (pool, café, restaurant, spa, etc.), it would be nice to have a smart TV in the room to watch movies and series at night.

The reception was warm from the young Aldo, who was courteous and attentive to my 86‑year‑old mother; the visit was brief but exceeded my expectations. There’s a sense of peace, nature, beautiful bird sounds, and at night the owls are amazing. After a refreshing jacuzzi bath, my mom forgot all her aches. The breakfast was wonderful, especially the bakery items. We were very happy and plan to return with family—no need to travel far when time is limited. I recommend the heart’s hot springs, San Esteban. I won’t stay longer this time, but I’ll come back to enjoy it more.

The place was fine, but at midnight we had a health emergency. The room phone didn’t work, so the host of the neighboring room lent us his. We called reception and they barely helped; the solution was to go downstairs and they took us to the emergency room. Unfortunately, the pain prevented me from moving, so we waited until a medication took effect. Luckily a paramedic passed by and helped. Reception offered no assistance at all, and they seemed clueless, never asking anything.

We were given a very pretty and comfortable room, the food service was exceptional, and the pools were very pleasant. We liked everything, but it would be even more spectacular if they had more pastry chefs.
