“Estadía incómoda”
The breakfast here was solid and the staff were extremely friendly, but we ended up in the wrong room type – there was no private bathroom, which made the stay pretty uncomfortable. On top of that, the place was swarmed with insects, the access road was terrible, and the surrounding vegetation was so dense it felt cramped.
Quiet spot, perfect for sleeping and getting back to nature. The food was tasty, and the hosts were great. Very silent, just what you need to recharge.
“Experiencia evocadora”
The farm is a great place to unwind, and the location makes it easy to hit all the Quindio and North Valley sights. Adelaida and Caturo are amazing hosts. Everyone loved it, so I’ll definitely come back.
“Einmalig!”
After four weeks of traveling around Colombia and staying at ten different spots, La Argelia stood out thanks to the wonderful hosts and their friendly friends, who shared great conversations and delicious Colombian dishes. The old house wrapped in lush greenery gave off a mysterious, tranquil feel, with birds singing by day and crickets at night, plenty of comfy seats, hammocks, and a small pool to relax in.
“Finca hermosa, tranquila y auténtica”
We spent two nights here with the family while visiting Panaca, and the hosts were incredibly kind and always ready to help, making the house feel like a well‑preserved piece of history surrounded by natural beauty. It’s the perfect spot for anyone who wants a home‑like feel in a peaceful, authentic setting, and we’d gladly return many times. The only downside was that we got lost trying to find the entrance; a few more signs with the finca’s name on the road would have saved us a lot of hassle.
